Founded in 1886, Aitchison College, Lahore is one of Pakistan's most prestigious educational institutions, renowned for its academic excellence and vibrant campus life. The Aitchison College Arts & Media Society (ACAMS) fosters creativity and artistic expression, providing students with opportunities to explore visual arts, film, music, and performance. ACAMS is celebrated for organizing ArtFest, Pakistan's largest high school arts and performing festival, and for nurturing the next generation of artists and creative leaders.
ArtFest
You may know ArtFest as the Inter Collegiate Art Competition, or Arts & Performing Festival but to us, it's a celebration of creativity and talent that brings together students from all backgrounds to showcase their artistic abilities. For the past 16 years we have set the standard for excellence in the arts and continue to inspire the next generation of artists.
This year promises to be no different, with an exciting lineup of events and activities planned. With 17 categories across Visual & Media Arts, Music and Art Discourse, we aim to provide a platform for students to express themselves and showcase their talents.
Founder's Day Art Exhibition
Founder's Day at Aitchison College marks the anniversary of the school's founding in 1886, celebrating its rich heritage and enduring legacy. Each year, the occasion is commemorated with a vibrant Art Exhibition, where students display their creative works in painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media. The exhibition highlights the artistic achievements of the Aitchison community and honors the spirit of innovation and excellence that defines the College.
Publicasso
Publicasso is the inaugural annual publication by the Aitchison College Arts & Media Society, launched this year to showcase the creative achievements of our students and alumni. Featuring a curated selection of visual art, photography, writing, and design, Publicasso serves as a platform to celebrate artistic expression within the Aitchison community. This first edition marks a new tradition, highlighting the diverse talents and voices that define ACAMS.
